This cable turns your the plug where you would charge your flashlight into another 12V slot, it has come in handy. Very good quality cable.

This device is a dream. I went from wire hell to a clean Sirius setup stashed away in my 2000 323i. Contrary to the reviewer that said their circuit remains on all the time, the model BMW I have will turn this circuit off when I lock the car. I never leave my car unlocked so this setup works fine. Love it!
That being said, here is how I use this product:
I took a small specialty box that fits in my glove compartment when closed. I happened to find a sturdy box that came with an award/trophy. I then cut out a square the size of the Starmate 5 radio, mounted the radio inside, bundled and stashed the wires behind the radio, close up the box, and it all fits in my glove compartment. The Sirius antenna sits in the right corner of the dash and the wire goes a couple feet down into the glove. When I drive, I open the glove and use the remote to change channels. Oh yeah, and I use the FM frequency to connect to the radio. The reception is fine for talk radio, but I will use a tape adapter if I wish to have higher quality sound for music, etc, but means more wires.

This is a great idea for BMW E66. I am loving having a power source in my glove box now that I didnt have before. I can now hide wires.
