I was skeptical since the feel of the product is uber important... I read the reviews, and we love the feel. We washed it after receiving it, and it is a soft cotton. At times, it almost feels like the softest pair of blue jeans you own. The price was right. I cannot stand buying online and having to pay return shipping and not getting my initial shipping back et cetera. So, thank God it worked; that's why Zappos is doing so well! Color: good. I still need to find big back pillows like the ones in the pic. Plus, the reviewer who told me about the ties inside - spot on! So, I sewed them in right away.

The duvet cover & the matching shams are lovely, though the print is not quite as pictured -- much more blue and red than you can see in the Amazon picture. I went to some other websites to find a picture I could zoom in on, and that helped me get a better idea about the cover. The blue is almost a royal blue, and the red is definitely red. That being said, I really like the colors in person, though they're hard to see accurately in any pictures online. The cover is soft, silky smooth, and handsome overall. Made in Pakistan.
The shams have cheap plastic zipper closures that I thought might break the first time I tried to zip the shams shut -- you know, the flimsy kind that gets stuck even when there's nothing to catch on. (They didn't break, happily.)
The duvet cover has NO TIES to attach to your insert. I know, safety pins are a good alternative -- or, I could sew some in myself. But seriously, can't Tommy spend another dollar and put a few pieces of material in the corners? The Target brand duvet covers have ties in the corners!

It's almost perfect because it looks beautiful, feels soft, fits well...the only thing is there's no way to attach the duvet to the duvet cover so I bought a 4-pk of clips and this seems to be working fine. Overall, a great purchase:)
