If you like camping, fishing, hiking or just like lights BUY THIS LIGTH. This is my favorite flashlight and I have quite a few from surefire to blackhawk. Strong, bright durable and not over priced. Only draw back like lots of things made in china, but great light!

Another great Fenix product that works well as a duty light. The brightness is right on at 225 lumens and the strobe function is great. I have used this for about 6 months as my light on my duty belt and have had no problems. The 4 position selector works well but you have to use both hands. I have dropped my TA20 from a second story landing onto concrete and submerged it in water/mud and it still works fine. I liked it well enough that I bought one for a relative and he carries it as his duty light as well. For wear on a duty belt this will fit in a Blackhawk Night-Ops Flashlight Mod-U-Lok holder in the bezel up position or bezel down with some modification to the bottom rubber piece of the holder.

I own model TA21, purchased in 2010. By all measure, it is the same light as this model TA20. I bought model TA21 about one year ago from this date, purchased via Amazon. I have taken this light out on some fairly intense trips, a 50-mile hike through black bear country in VA, through the Peruvian Andes (up to 16,000ft on Salcantay), through the Badlands, Yellowstone Park, and Mount Rainier. The light performs. Dollar-for-dollar, size, and performance, this light is the best.
I recently just purchased another Fenix light, model TK45 (rated at 3x brighter than the TA21/TA20). I have owned this TK45 model for approximately 3 months. I must save, dollar-for-dollar, size, and performance, Model TA21/TA20 blows it out of the water.
CONS: Just one. At the time of this review, about one year into owning the light, I was having trouble getting the light to turn on. I simply read the owners manual and it said if this was happening, to take a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol and to gently clean the contacts. I did this. I also put some light oil on the rubber O-ring at the same time as they recommended to ensure a good waterproof seal (I recommend you do this). RESULT: Light works! So it's not necessarily a "Con" at all. Just good ownership/maintenance.
The CR123A batteries are somewhat of a hassle as quality cells are a tad expensive. Shortly, I will be trying some rechargable CR123A and hopefully will be happy.
If you purchase this light, you will be happy.
