I just bought one of these racks and its great! I have summer and winter wheels and tires that I swap for the seasons.I have very large tires, my winter tires on my stock wheels are 275/60/20.My summer wheels are custom and are 305/40/24. These wheels take up alot of floor space,and I was looking for a good tire rack that could accommodate such large tires and this rack can hold them! It looks good too,was very easy to assemble and mount! There's only one problem with it.It's the rubber mounts on the bottom back side of the rack! You have to make sure you line them up with the studs in the wall,like in my case my tires a very wide and I couldn't put them over the studs because of where the rack mounts.It moves side to side but for it to stay centered on the top mount they wouldn't be over the studs! I learned the hard way that there's alot of weight on the rubber pads and they busted right through the drywall when I put the last tire on! I fixed it by buying a piece of 1"by 8" by 5ft and mounted it behind the bottom of the rack to evenly distribute the weight and it works fine now. so if you can't put them over the studs I would strongly recommend doing this and avoid any damage to your walls!(if your garage is finished).I would definitely recommend this tire rack to anyone who has rims and tires they need to store out of the way,Its a good price, easy to mount looks great and will hold all sizes of tires!!

I needed some type of storage device to get my alternate set of wheels and tires for my car out of the way to free up floor space in the garage, and this rack fit the bill perfectly.
It's very well constructed and took less than a half hour to mount the pieces to the wall and assemble.
I have no qualms about it falling apart or being at all unsafe.
The only improvement I would make is the two polygonal arms on each side of the tires have a very sharp, pointy front bottom corner and it would be nice if these could be rounded off, as if you are working below it and bash your head on one of these pointy corners you will do SERIOUS damage to yourself; a little pipe insulation taped to those corners solves the problem but it shouldn't be necessary.

Just received this unit only to find that the inside width is NOT 66 in as described online. I called the company HyLoft and the rep confirmed this. He said you can spread the rack as wide as 58 in (inside opening) as long as your weight is tires only (no rims). The instruction manual states 52 in!!! I have 62in total width and therefore can't use this unit. The rep did not seem fazed by the fact the description above (from the company) is completely misleading. No apologies. No alternate solutions. He just said: Return it to Amazon! I can't speak to the product but the company is crap.
